Hello, I am Lee Jeehyun with the latest weather updates. There's much awaited relief from the cold snap this afternoon, with temperatures finally going above the freezing mark here in Seoul. Morning sunshine will be joined by more clouds in the afternoon with dry weather alerts remaining in place across parts of the east coast including Daegu, Busan and Ulsan. Afternoon highs will be 2 to 5 degrees higher than yesterday, Seoul at 1 degree Celsius, Busan at 9 degrees this afternoon. The slightly more bearable weather will stay tomorrow but another round of snow is in store with 1 to 5 centimeters of snow expected in central regions. Northern parts of Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do Province could see up to 10 centimeters. Southern parts of the country will see light rain instead. Then a powerful cold front sweeps the country again on Thursday and stays through Christmas with more snow in store in Chungcheong-do, Jeolla-do and Jeju.
