Last year, the river didn't freeze at all so it's been a very cold winter this year cold wave alerts remain in place across much of Korea, it felt like it was below minus 10 degrees in Seoul this morning but highs will rise fast to positive territory. The western central regions had a dusty start and will see high levels of dust for most of the day. The capital and Jeollabuk-do Province will see dust levels improving as the day goes on. Skies will be mostly sunny with highs that are slightly higher than Sunday at 1 degree Celsius in Seoul, 9 degrees in Busan and Jeju. Meanwhile, the east coast continues to be under dry weather alerts. There will be light snow on Wednesday from dawn to the afternoon, spreading to the west coast on Thursday, but temperatures will remain colder than average through this final week of 2022.
