Gangwon-do Province could see up to 5 centimeters, while the rest of the country will see 1 to 3 centimeters of snowfall.
Then a blast of freezing air moves in to the country, putting the nation in an icy grip through the Seollal holiday weekend, next week looks to be the coldest of the season with morning lows going down below minus 15 degrees Celsius in the capital.
