Chalk one up for EV's. For the very first time, electric vehicles have won some big North American awards!
Specifically, they took two of the top three categories at the annual North American Car, Truck and Utility of the Year awards.
Truck of the Year was awarded to the Ford F-150 Lightning and Kia's EV6 won top SUV.
The awards are decided by fifty professional automotive journalists from across the U.S. and Canada.
All told six of the nine finalists were battery-powered! The times, they are a-changin’!
