Good afternoon. We are getting a taste of spring this Thursday rather than feeling like the middle of winter with temperatures hovering about 10 to 13 degrees higher than the average temperatures for the middle of January. However, the ultrafine dust level will remain high in the capital region for most of the day. There's sunny skies to start the day, then we'll notice skies getting grey, with rain in the forecast from Jeju and Jeollanam-do Province from this afternoon gradually spreading to rest of the country overnight. Mountainous regions of Jeju and the south coast could see monsoon-like levels of heavy rain.
Jeju Island sees a high of 19 degrees Celsius, feeling more like April, but once it starts to rain, it could pour down along with strong winds. Daegu sees a high of 15, Busan at 16 degrees.
Tonight's rain will ease the dryness in the air and wash the dust away. Expect to see on-and-off rain or snow through Sunday, then the winter chill makes a comeback next week.
With that, here's a look at the weather conditions around the globe.
